Classes" (Education and Support Yourself -- FREE for D.V. Survivors Turning Pointe is providing a series of six 1 1/2 hour classes. These classes will help educate survivors on the various ways domestic violence not only effects them, but also their children, their families and the community. The classes include: The Dynamics of Domestic Violence The Effects on Children and Families Chemical Dependency and Domestic Violence Sadness, Depression and Anger Law Enforcement and the Courts Where Do I Go From Here? A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the six week course. The classes are free to D.V. survivors. Due to confidentiality, they are not open to the general public. "Illuminations" A victim/ survivor support group meets every Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. Bring a sack lunch.
