Well, they say the first few years of a child's life are the hardest. You have to teach them how to walk, and talk and change dirty diapers and of course the 2 am feedings.
While our shelter is not a real baby requiring the above mentioned things, and while Turning Pointe has been open in Mason County for about 10 years, we are still a very new shelter at only a year and a half old.
Marsha, our financial coordinator has compiled our revenue and expenses report for the last year. Its pretty scary and we need your help!

As you can see we need help just to stay afloat! The shelter operating expenses include but are not limited to:
- Mortgage on our 54 bed facility and administrative offices
- Electricity
- Utility bills
- Repairs
- Cleaning Supplies
- Office Supplies
- Office bills such as our phone, used for crisis calls
- Employee Salaries (As the largest facility in the Washington, we have the fewest employees)
